While this isn’t necessarily a confirmation that The Sims 4 Pets expansion pack is in the works, this wouldn’t be the first time that the DLC has been hinted at. Horses are also mentioned, though as the uncovered code may be incomplete, it’s also possible that horses will not feature in the final version of The Sims 4 Pets expansion. These new pieces of Sims 4 code include references to cats and dogs, both small and large, also suggesting that they can be picked up by Sims. According to Sims Community modder Zerbu, several lines of code can now be found in the game (XML code in the ““relationships.relationship_tracker_tuning” XML resource.)
